The House investigative committee has released a batch of roughly 70 photos from the estate of former found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third such publication from a larger collection of over 95,000 photographs the committee has acquired from Epstein's property. It features images of passages from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured pictures of women's international passports.

This release comes just hours before the December 19th deadline for the Justice Department to release every documents connected to its probe into Epstein.

"These latest photos bring up more queries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its holdings," said the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Made Public

Several of the photographs released on recently feature Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing beside a female whose face is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest affluent, prominent men to be photographed in Epstein's estate photos released by the oversight panel - formerly released pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Being pictured in the images is does not constitute proof of any wrongdoing, and a number of the featured individuals have stated they were not implicated in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a press release released with the photo publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not supply context or timeframes for the images.

"Photos were chosen to furnish the public with clarity into a illustrative selection of the photographs obtained from the holdings, and to offer understanding into Epstein's associates and his profoundly troubling actions," the release reads.

The disclosure also features several photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in ink across different parts of a woman's body, like her upper body, lower extremity, hipbone, and rear. Lolita tells the tale of a adolescent who was manipulated by a adult literature professor.

A particular passage from the work inscribed across a woman's chest states, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to alight, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photos of female identification and identification documents from nations globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the IDs, including identities and birth dates, is obscured but the panel indicated in a statement that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

A further photograph shows Epstein seated at a table intimately in the company of three women whose faces have been obscured - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and another is leaning to view a adjacent device. Epstein seems to be aiding the final person attach a wristband.

Another photograph made public is a image of digital messages from an unidentified individual who states they have been provided "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 per girl".

Photograph Release Occurs Before DOJ Due Date

The committee has thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously graphic and everyday," its announcement on Thursday noted.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and documents the Epstein property provided to the body are distinct from what is commonly called "the Epstein documents". Those files are records within the DOJ's possession associated with its separate investigation into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which President Trump made law recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its documents. The extent of what is found in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's expected that a large amount of the material will be heavily obscured, akin to Congressional releases
